2026–2036

A ten-year plan, written down.

Thirty families in Year 1. One hundred by Year 3. Four hundred and a Tech Center by Year 10. Each milestone earns the next. Outcomes are published before enrollment grows. Capital is raised only after demand is proven.

The Roadmap

Each milestone earns the next.

2026 · Year 1

Pilot launches: 30 families In Progress

15 of 30 children sponsored. The cohort opened September 7, 2026 with the children whose seats are sponsored and grows as further seats are taken, with a second intake in January 2027. All four pillars from day one. English instruction delivered by per-diem and volunteer instructors; salaried professor added at Year-2 enrolment. First Sarepta healthcare cohort enrolled. First annual outcomes baseline established. Three founder site visits.

Budget · $43,670 · Founding-donor phase · Sponsor a seat →

2027 · Year 2

Double enrollment: 60 families

Year-1 outcomes published to all founding donors. Joint grant applications opened with Sarepta. Salaried English professor hired as enrolment grows. Conflict-of-interest policy reviewed by independent counsel.

Budget · ~$110,000

2028 · Year 3

Technology joins the classroom: 100 children

Dedicated technology professor begins. Combined English + Technology curriculum launches. Per-child fully-loaded cost begins to decline as fixed overhead amortises. Part-time development coordinator hired.

Budget · ~$150,000

2030 · Year 5

Nutrition Center construction begins: 175 children

After five years of documented demand, capital campaign closes ($225K target) and Nutrition Center construction begins. 500+ total children served since launch. First independent program audit completed.

Budget · ~$220,000 + $225,000 capital

2033 · Year 8

BPO anchor client signed · Tech Center campaign opens: 300 children

First business-process outsourcing anchor client commits to hiring HCT graduates. Tech Center capital campaign launches ($750K target). First HCT graduates begin remote employment from Cap-Haïtien.

Budget · ~$340,000

2036 · Year 10

Tech Center opens: 400+ children served, 100 graduates hired

HCT Tech Center opens with 100 seats. The first 100 graduates of the English + Technology curriculum are its first hires. Their salaries begin funding the next pilot cohort. The closed loop closes. The brain drain reverses, family by family.

Budget · ~$750,000 capital + ongoing operations

Founding Decade

This is a decade-long commitment.

A small foundation, trying to change the course of one community by a few degrees over ten years. Not a sweeping savior narrative. Not "ending poverty in Haiti." A specific commitment: thirty Cap-Haïtien families, expanding to four hundred, with a Tech Center at the end and Darline's story repeated many times over.
